Why use the EdGE Database?
The EdGE Database has been developed to gather all the various opportunities that exist at the University into one place, making it easy for you to find out what’s on offer and find something to suit you! There are loads of new experiences out there, some of which you may never have even heard of before.
When it comes to getting a graduate job, employers are looking for more than just grades. They want graduates who have been involved with out-of-class activities whilst at university, and can demonstrate the attributes they have gained. The EdGE Database will help you identify opportunities to develop and use particular skills or attributes, in addition to those you gain through your academic studies. For example, you could improve your leadership, organisation and enterprise skills by starting a new student society.

The most important person in all of this is you. What would you like to do to make the most of your time at University? What attributes would you like to acquire or develop? What would you like to take away with you when you graduate, and what can you do to make these things happen?
